We are excited announce a new collaboration with the Rodgers and Hammerstein Archives of Recorded Sound (RHA) at the New York Public Library for Performing Arts. We will work together with the RHA to produce Listening to the Library, an in interactive audio tour of the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts that invites listeners to reimagine and re-examine the library and its collections through sound. We would like to thank Jonathan Hiam, curator of the American Music Collection and The Rodgers and Hammerstein Archives of Recorded Sound for working with us to help realize this project. The exhibition will launch 9 February 2016.
Listening to the Library is made possible in part with public funds from the Manhattan Community Arts Fund, supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. LMCC.net
