Akiko Yanagimoto | Maitake

Akiko Yanagimoto is an embroidery and ceramic artist bringing out stories embedded in everyday life through colorful embroidery. Narratives told through embroideries made on transparent sheets incorporate the exhibition space and start to generate new stories. Her works have been exhibited extensively in the Netherlands and Japan. She graduated from Tama Art University in Tokyo.
